Official 3 0n 3 NHL Arcade Q&A Thread

Okay everyone,
Bear with me but I wanted to get this up. EA is getting ready to release their new Hockey arcade title in Feb. The game will be a 3-on 3 style of play. I know we have several hockey fans on the forums. So I asked if the tem would be willing to answer any questions you have.
Just post them here and someone from the Dev team will be answering them. It may take a few days for a response I want to thank the EA Sports Community Manager for arranging this and the whole team for thier time. Lets get some decent questions posted for them to answer!

Just a reminder please start posting questions as they dev team members may pop on at any time now. I have two questions so let me start.
Is the game sort of like the NHL Blitz Series from Midway?

Also how is the balnce between arcade and realistic NHL Gmaeplay EX: Skating puck control Etc. and how hard was it to decide how over the top to make it compared to the regular NHL series?

how different are the controls going to feel from nhl 09? ie are the controls the same or are they going to be similar to hockey games in the past where, for example, we used a trigger for speed boost or turbo

are the rink sizes going to be comparable to a standard nhl rink, or have you made the rinks smaller to compensate for the 3 on 3 play? (or increased the size of the players)

are fighting controls similar to how fights are in nhl 09, or are they going to be more over the top to something along the lines of the nhl hitz series from the previous generation of consoles? can goalies fight?

customization - are you going to be able to create your own pro, or custom teams, rinks, etc?

is there some kind of franchise or season modes?

are you going to be able to hit people through the glass?

is there going to be any sort of unlockable features? for example, retro jerseys?

It reminds me of wayne gretskys 3d Hockey on the N64. That was 3 0n 3 If I remember correctly, it was also very arcady
