When you enabled the CAPTCHA and email Verifacation on this site to Register, did it eliminate all porn and advertisment bots? Or have you had it this way from the start?

They come and go. The mods here are on them like a hawk though, I haven't seen one on the forum (and not banned / locked already) in a long time.

Zeph, why would you even be curious about that? Your new here and I welcome you but no offense, we have had plenty of new people come on here and pretend to be all pally with us. only to turn around and try something stupid and get banned.

Word of friendly advice, stick around, prove yourself, be cool and you will do just fine...If you don't, the admins on this site are sharp, quick, and show no mercy for stupidity and bullying.

What the **** is your problem? I'm asking a question because my site was getting hammered with 20+ members a day that were porn bots posting all over the forums. Now we fixed it mostly, but I was asking a sucessful looking site how they eliminated the problem. So thanks for completely shooting down me asking for help.

Zeph, Rough asks a good and legit question if I see one more outburst or attack and by passing the swear filter you are going to get the ban hammer. You have been warned and to be honest a few of the comments and questions you have asked have raised concerns from me and others. If you really had an issue with Spam bots you could have sent a PM to one of the staff members. I didn't read the post and think you were asking for help either so please watch what you say and next time you want to know something you may want to ask a staff person posting it this way is not the way for help.

Last warning about attacking members and while Rough and Mekid can defend themselves very well I don't need this crap in the forums if I see a problem I fix it and right now you are becoming a major problem for me. Last warning. Mods and Admins if you see any more of this its auto ban time no warning no PM's nothing I am sick of all the moaning and trying to stir crap Up!

We don't want Porn ads and as far as what our set-up is that is for the staff to know and a staff issue. I don't know why you are so interested in what our site does or the things no other member asks? Very confused as to why it has you worried.

We are here and we do ban people almost daily although now we tend to do it a bit more quietly. Trust me when I say we are on this like a hawk to use your words and it will be dealt with. Sorry for the hassle and I hope it fixes itself without my use of the ban hammer but if that is what it will take its ready.

Zeph, it wasn't an attack and I think you know that by now. If the question was for advice as to how to keep out those bots for your website, then maybe you should have posted that as well. We have no idea who you are, you have no reputation on this site, therefore no credibility, how do we know your not a wolf in sheeps clothing trying to find out what we use to keep garbage off this site? so you can hack it later?
Before you get stupid again, I am not accusing you of hacking anything...I'M JUST SAYING.....like a what if situation..get me?
