| Re: Would You Want to see the Ruturn of the Arcade?
A quick update I did not give up on the idea of bringing back the arcade. I have spoken to Jason and he thinks its a good idea. We would need to change a few things and see if it agrees with our current layout but it's still being talked about. I would like to hear some more comments, thoughts and ideas on this. I will say we would have some requirements to have access to it.
Also on a another topic the podcasts will return things have been strange this year with unplanned events and other things that prevented more to be recorded. We have plans to start back up and see how far we can go with each show so expect them to be as crazy as before. I don't think we will ever top number 7 but we can try.
I am also looking for a few people who want a chance to help the site in the way of content. News, previews that sort of thing. I will tell you right off the bat you need strong writing skills willing to be taught how to write for a website and not what you get taught in journalism classes. Most of all I need people that want to help have time and are eager to help out. I want to expand coverage but without a few people helping with the possibility of going on to reviews and other things this can't happen. If you are interested send me a PM I will respond with what I need from you. Along with the amount of time you need to be availble each week.
If someone has experince with WP already and strong interest in news PM me ASAP. I only ask that if you say you are interested to follow through. Let me know and thanks new staff members would be asked to join in on podcasts and other things once they have proven they want to help and this is a chance to get a foot in the door so to speak.
I would prefer to get members that have been here for awhile or long timers but if I need to bring in new people I will. |
