#1 Film Gets Wireless Treatment
Wireless entertainment publisher Mobile Scope today announced that its first
game based on the I, Robot™ feature film has been released for Java-enabled
handsets. A BREW version will also be available later this summer. The feature
film I, Robot stars Will Smith and topped the US box office in the first weekend
of its release.
Based on a series of short stories by Isaac Asimov and directed by Alex Proyas
(The Crow), I, Robot is a detective thriller set in a futuristic world in which
robots are governed by three laws: 1) A robot may not injure a human being,
or through inaction allow a human being to come to harm, 2) A robot must obey
the orders of a human being, unless those orders conflict with the First Law,
and 3) A robot must protect its own existence, but only if that protection does
not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
A fast-moving action platform game, I, Robot thrusts players into a thrilling
race against time. Play multiple characters with unique abilities over six levels
of non-stop fun. The individual abilities force players to take a different
approach in maneuvering tricky situations to complete each level. A selection
of diverting mini games add to the enjoyment. About Mobile Scope AG
