Screen Grabs From Your Xbox? Max Drive

This from Xbox365...

Datel's MAX Drive, a PC-compatible USB flash drive for the Xbox, is set to revolutionise the way we manage our game saves. MAX Drive is a USB device that fits into your Xbox memory card slot using a special adapter (supplied). Its massive 16MB capacity can store game saves standard memory cards couldn't hold - just the thing for those memory-hungry sports sim seasons. In fact, it can hold double the amount of saves possible on an ordinary Xbox card. But that's not all...
Because MAX Drive is a USB device, you can use it to transfer saves from your console to your PC, storing them on your computer's hard drive. You can then email them to your friends using your PC's Internet connection. Imagine having all that flexibility at your fingertips. Best of all, you can also download the latest game saves with in-built cheats from Datel's CodeJunkies server.
Datel's rather hip and happening Managing Director, Michael Connors, said: "MAX Drive is by far the most flexible memory management solution ever to hit the consoles. With its huge storage capacity and PC-compatibility, it's an indispensable tool for the serious gamer".

That's pretty cool, GM. I've been looking for something to be able to take screenshots with instead of holding my digital camera up to the TV and this sounds like just the device. And I know some other people who own a website who regularly take pics of them playing games and then displaying it on the site afterwards so I know they'll be interested in this as well. This is available now, or will be available shortly then?

It's supposed to be available shortly. As for the screenshot thing, I'm not sure how/if this thing will be able get screenshots. I got the story (Title and all) from Xbox365. If it can take screenshots, the story didn't say how it would.

Yeah, I don't see how it would be able to do that unless it had its own special little button that you can press so that some how it knows to take a pic of the screen and store it on itself.

Re: Screen Grabs From Your Xbox? Max Drive

I imagine it would be user-friendly and idiot resistant; meaning even a complete moron could hook it up and use it successfully on the first try, as well as other people out there who aren't as tech savvy as the rest of the 21st generation (ie, ME). As long as it's like a PnP device where you don't have to install any other special programs or download any other programs it should be fine.

Re: Screen Grabs From Your Xbox? Max Drive

I dont think u can capture screen shots from your xbox directly into your xbox memory card. I mean doesn't it have to be connected to the RCA jacks also in order for anything to happen... ?

You're probably right. That'll learn me about taking stories from other websites without checking them.
