I'm pretty sure. They just ask for the serial number and when you bought it, etc. It has nothing to do with whether or not it's brand new or refurbished. As long as it's never been opened.

Hey Elder, So the DDE error is a dvd player problem? My Xbox was bought about a month after the launch. I bought Rally Sport Challenge 2 and got the DDE's. I returned the disc because it had "water"mark on it. Got another one that looked ok, but am still getting DDE's in the career mode ALOT. I even went as far as deleting all my old saves. Still get DDE's. Any suggestions?

Some older xbox's have MAJOR problems running graphically intense games. It also MAY be the first signs that your box is dying. Your best bet, get an extended warranty (if possible) & send your box in for service. Good Luck! I'm looking for some fresh meat on RSC2!

I always had problems with NFSU with my old xbox. Sometimes when I race I go so fast that the tracks fails to load. Anyways all that was fixed when I finally got my new Halo LE xbox.

oh man i already called microsoft about my xbox tell everthing my problems about it anything.

the sad thing is they didnt even help me even an inch..... dang

this is my problem with my xbox

when i press the eject button the green light keep flashing the dvd tray wont open and there were no sound and nothing in the screen..... i cant see a thing....

is there any solutions to fix my xbox plz reply and help me....
