EDIT
On Windows Media Connect the computer recognizes the 360, but not vice versa |
Here is the other ports that need to be added to your router when using the program Media connect.
Here are the ports you need open and the correct MTU settings everything is below. Just remember you will need to do a reboot of the modem and router turning it off for a minute them power on the modem then router anfter you change the settings and leave the set-up page and close your browser.
Ports need open or port triggered. port 88 both Protocals
Port 3074 both protocals
*Port 2869 TCP Protocol
*Port 1900 UDP Protocol
*Port 10280-10284 UDP Protocal
*Port 10243 TCP Protocal
* only needed for the 360 using media connect 1.0 or 2.0 if just the Xbox the fist two.
Make sure the MTU is set to 1490
This should fix you right up you may want to look at Xbox.com and under routers and modems make sure the firmware is Xbox Live Capitable.
Hope this helps?
Now one trick if the 360 says on the last screen or blade that your computer is connected tell it to disconnect and then reconnect it then go to the music balde or screen and don't hit music hit Photos if they pop up you should be good to go hope this helps if you need more help let me know.
You said your using a cross over cable? Is it a ehternet cat 5 cable? That may be your other problem.
