Which XBox 360 games should I buy?

Hi guys!
Nice forum.
This is my first post here.

I have got my XBox 360 some days ago. I have never played it yet.
Please let me know what XBox games should I buy?

Regarding to the rating based on expert and user reviews the best games are:
Half Life 2: The Orange Box
Grand Theft Auto IV
Rock Band
Bioshock
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Are these games really rocks? Please explain. I have heared about two first games, but have never heared about the rest. I wanna buy some kind of games this weekend, so need more inforamation about really best games.

as far as Great stories go, Bioshock is a good one. so is MASS EFFECT.
Grand Theft Auto is good but repetitive so it gets old fast.
As far as First Person shooters go, it don't get much better the call of Duty 4 and Don't forget about Halo 3. The New Battlefield Bad company is really fun but a bit hard to0 get used to. Don't forget that you can rent games to try them out before you decide on what to buy.
