The same levels over and over? --*Halo 2-live*

I've been using Live for about 5 days now, played maybe 50 or so games of Halo 2 and only played 4-5 different levels. Are the levels defined by Live? Are games hosted by Live or gamers?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I'm dying for some change.

gamers choose the levels but most people choose the same over and over. there isnt to many tlevels though it seems, probable why there wil be downloadable content. also depending on the game type you may only get certain levels to choose.

I've been playing rumble match and I see in the menu, if I wanted to invite people to a game, i could choose from about 10 or so levels. Strange people like these 4 levels so much.

It seems Bungie has set "playlists" up. They will periodically updated.

If you're in matchmaking, you have no choice whatsoever. Bungie does it, and certain game types only use certain maps. You wouldn't want to go head to head on Waterworks, you might never run into the other player!

Well of course the online levels would need to be modified for online play. Some boundaries set up etc......

Yep Jim hit the nail on the head, strangely enough since he's rarely trustworthy when it comes to these things, but if you were to play non-ranked games that aren't set up through the Matchmaking feature you would have more options... but your rank will not be affected either.
