Minor Live Problem Being Addressed

Various gamers have reported in the TeamXbox forums and on other sites of a problem that has recently occured with their Friends List on Xbox Live.
The bug apparently affects the display of the Friends List for some gamers. Even when an individual is logged on to Xbox Live, there status still shows "offline" to those people on their Friends List.
This problem is not affecting all Xbox Live accounts, but has caused frustration to many gamers over the past 24-48 hrs.
Microsoft is aware of the situation and has responded to our queries with this official comment:
"Xbox Live is aware of a current issue that is affecting friends lists on Xbox Live as well as the friends list on the My Live section of Xbox.com. We are working to resolve this as soon as possible. This issue is not affecting all users. We are scheduled to have this resolved by 8:00 a.m. PST tomorrow morning 1/20/04. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
So hold tight all you Xbox Live gamers, and things should be back to normal shortly.
