I am having trouble connecting to Xbox Live. I have a wired connection directly to my router. I am a Charter customer. Every time I try to connect I end up with a DNS error. I have tried having the IP and DNS settings automatically assigned to my XBOX, but does not work. I set the IP address to one above my computer and it will now pass the network portion. I also set the both the primary and secondary DNS settings so they were the same as my computer, didn't work so I referred to xbox.com and contacted my ISP and got the DNS settings from them. Of course it still did not work and I am now stuck. I have also tried hooking all cables up while the xbox is both powered on and off and have tried restarting my modem. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
