Strange annoying glitch problem..please help

Just recently purchased RS3 for xbox. I bought it used originally, and tried playing it. This weird glitch happened during gameplay. Sometime during the game, I am able to see through walls, characters in the game have no textures instead they are solid blue or green models, the HUD goes all blurry, geometry is being redrawn before my eyes, and when I return to the menu's all the text is completely blurred and fragmented. The game never freezes, however, so I can still play. But, it's pointless. So, I went back and switched the copy with another used copy. That one did the same thing. Frustrated, I went back and just bought the new copy of the game...It too does the same thing. I've never experienced this problem with any other game. So, could it be my xbox?? Does it just not like RS3!? Any help would be awesome.

Rainbow Six 3 has been known for horrendous bugs, so it could well be the game itself.

yes, true. but its happened to 3 different copies...its hard to believe that i received 3 faulty copies.

It could be a problem with your DVD drive trying to read certain files from the second layer of a DVD. I had a game where all the audio was stored on the second layer, and I got none at all. Then I got a new XBox. Problem solved.

Wow, I've never heard of that before. Ummmmm, you should probably call 1-800-4MY-XBOX, buy an extended warranty ($50) and they'll fix your Xbox for free.

does it happen like all the time or only when you walk up to a wall? cuz there is a glitch where when you walk up to a wall you can see through it and glitchy stuff happens.

All this talk of RS3 is making me think twice about ever buying a copy whether it's new or not.

In my opinion, you can do a lot better than RS3. I got rid of my copy several months ago as the online lag made the game unplayable.

I know everybody will probably buy Black Arrow, but surely Ghost Recon 2 will be superior.

once it happens, it happens everywhere. not just when i walk up to a wall. also, occasionally it'll glitch in such a way where if i am zoomed everything is fine, but if i go out of zoom, all i see is crazy polygons.

it seems as though no one has heard of or seen this bug before in RS3. interesting.
