I have a Thomson and never had a problem with it...except Brute Force didn't load sometimes but that was a problem with the game.

WELL I ALSO HAVE A THOMSON DVD DRIVE AND STILL HAD ANY PROBLEMS ....

I dont think he need you Discin' Boyz - he has 280 signatures - ohh, do u think thats enough to save xbox humanity??

back to the original Q - i have a thomson - which is still holding up nicely - the only major problem I had was that it refused to continue with 'Enter The Matrix' keeped freezing in gameplay - no matter how many times i replaced the disk - this was before I knew the thomson drive was ****. either that or it just didnt like will smiths wife.

Cedarian has very few friends at xbs so far
I personally have a Phillips in mine. I haven't had any trouble with it so far...I think a few dirty disc errors but it usually is the disc...lol...
