Darn Xbox.. Well, I am of course, using the ol' regular Xbox. I cannot afford a 360, so I'm stuck with this.
To start off, it's one of the original Xbox releases, I got it like the 1st day they came out. It has been in it's box ever since I stopped playing it, still in mint condition. I pull it out because my friend signed me up for Xbox Live, and I put in Halo 2, only to come upon a, "Disc cannot be read" error. So I look at my disc, and it had a chip in it, so I went up to Gamers to buy a new one, I get home, try it, and it says it cannot be read. I checked out this one, and there were no scratches on it, and it worked at Gamers when they tested it.
Anyone have any tips? I have searched and saw that I could open up my Xbox, and clean it out because there might be dust/hair/other particles in it.
I have tried taking it apart, but all the screws look like they have been stripped, and none of my screwdrivers will work.
Any help at all, will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
