Incompatible Router

Hey everyone, Merry Xmas!! Im new here, after looking about many forums I decided to make this one my home!!

After a week or so of trying to fix my router, I found that my DLink DI-624+ will simply not work even though the DI-624 does

So, like many of us, I am going to hit the Boxing Day sales for a new router.
As I dont really have a clue over what to get I need help, and not off a salesman who see's me as an easy target. I simply need a router that is cheap, easy to install and will work with the xbox.

Well most linksy routers are xbox approved, got to xbox.com and I think there is a list of compatable routers there. Then you are already one step ahead of That no it all Salesman you may encounter. Welcome to XBS BRYDO and Merry Christmas to ya.
