OK so I pre-ordered the extra special edition that comes with the real working night vision goggles, my question is...who makes these goggles? are the cheapo russian made goggles that burn out and a short period of time? The thing about cheap night vision is that they don't last long, they will burn out after a few hours of use and then you are stuck with junk. COL can you dig and find out who makes these goggles? I got wind that only 40,000 are going out in the USA.

I don't have the kind of money to splurge down on that. I didn't even get the middle version... it's not as sentimental to me as say Halo was.

BTW, can someone fix my stupid mistake in this title and call it "modern warfare" not "modern combat". Must have had Battlefield on my mind at the time.

From what I am hearing the Night Vision Goggles are well made and if you look around you can't buy a pair for under 90.00 or so. I also hear that next month a few of the bigger stores will be getting a working pair in to look at. I am trying to find out more details on this. I think it's a neat idea and with the other things in the set not priced to badly. Comparing it to the Halo 3 set on the one hand is easy but most people knew the helmet was going to be small and MS did over produce the set.

I did hear they set a certain amount and will not go past that number. It's a neat idea and compared to the other set many may go for it. I will warn you that may stores are about to stop taking pre-orders on this set very soon. Is it something you need? No of course not but the way it has the head shell to show off does make it a nice set. I just hope they don't get too out of hand with all these CE sets for games. Oh and Rough I have sent a request trying to find out since i would also like to know right now the only thing I know is that they have a range of 50 feet I am hoping to get more info when I do I'll post it.

My bro is locked up in prison but they r allowed to have their on tv and xbox 360 I'm wounderin if the new cod moderen warfare 2 is gonna be a system link game like the last ones cause they have 16 players in there that shoot against each other on the weekends so if anyone can answer this question for me I can then pre order the game for him any help would be greatly appreciated
