Hey guys, I just got a promotional offer from Ubisoft informing me that can get in on a "premium endwar" beta if I preorder the game from Gamestop. Since I was planning on getting the game anyway, this doesn't sound like a bad idea. But! I got just got this email yesterday, yet when I got to the Gamestop sight and click on the info for it there, it says you have to do pre-order before August 31 to get in on it.

Any got any idea's on what gives? WTF would they even send this out now if its already over ?

There is supposed to be a "stress test" beta the details are hazy at best. I thought it was for those who pre-ordered the game and then it will open to those as a puplic demo. I am guessing the store you pre-ordered it from either didn't get the new tokens (codes) or was not told. I know the puplic demo will be up soon. I have no idea what GameStop is doing with their stuff as of late but this is not the forst time I heard this happening.

If you really want to push the issue and get a code I would call their 800 line it can be found on the website and talk with someone there they should email you a token. Hope this helps.

Haven't pre-ordered just yet. I was just on their website checking it out, and was about to put the entry in when I saw the info. Eh, I think I'll just wait for the game to come out,, might just put it on my Christmas list anyway since its showing to release around the same time as fable 2 and GoW 2...and I just don't have enough ours in the day.
