For those who are getting Bock Band 2 here is some information and help. I wanted to post this since I saw many playing that didn't know about exporting the songs off Rock Band 1. You need to put in RB 1 then go to options and hit export. You will be ask to buy a one time key from the Marketplace at 400 points. it takes about 1.5 gigs of HD space and about 10 minutes to move the songs from the disc to the HD.

I know 400 points just to rip the songs seems a bit much but it beats having to switch game discs each time. Also it os true that 3 songs won't be transfered over but on the back of the RB 2 book there is a URL and a cade to get 20 free downloads. The site is still not live yet but as soon as it is I will post that information.

I will say the game with the added Wprls tour mode right on live makes RB 2 great to play. Gronar and I played for a while I think he got worn out. Also be ready to have certain band names come up as not acceptable. They really cracked down if you chhose a name that is questionable no one will see it I think it will just have your gamer tag as the band name. We will be sure to talk about RB 2 on our next podcast just need some time with it first.

The interface is pretty slick and we will have a podcast about it soon but we need more time with the game. If you check the main page I gave all the info on how to export the songs and about the 20 free downloads you get. I have to say so far very impressed with the game.

Okay, as promised I got the word on the 20 download code and site info. You can read it right from Harmonix by clicking this link
John Drake was nice enough to fill me in and I will tell you its going to be a full 20 song bundle. More details are on the site so read them please. If anyone hs other questions or issues post them here I have a pretty good way of geetting answers so this will work the best to get them answerd quickly.
