Too Human demo

Any one else d/led and played the demo yet?

I tried it breifly, and my impressions are kind of mixed. The controls are kinda ..wierd..not wonky, just go completely against the grain so to speak. Right stick doesn't control camera, it controls melee attacks, and even though I am aware of it, its still damned hard to get used to that concept. I did have some fun with it though..its nothing absolutly mind blowing gameplay wise, but I like it better than the traditional turn based RPG,,and they gave just enough story there to get me interested. I'm probably going to go through with my plans to pick it up, which is good, I've been watching this game for a very long time. But then again, maybe I'm just fooling myself into liking it because of that,,who knows.

After what 8 years first playstation 1 then 2 then Xbox then Xbox 360 I thought the demo was a waste. If the game is going to control like this they may as well not bother and the graphics looked horrible I thought.

considering the development cycle, yes, you're right...but that long cycle gave me bad feelings about the game anyways. Seems like any time a game takes that long to develope it usually flops. Guess its just a matter of the devs not being able to make up their mind what exactly they want the game to be, so when it finally comes down to the fire, they cobble together a blend of different concepts and ideas, jam'em all together and shove it out with their best wishes.
