I got lucky and Gamefly shipped it today, yep today Monday!

So hopefully it'll be here by the end of the week. Which is ok because mom is visiting this week so it's not like I could have played much.

OK here is my first impression of GTA 4, yaaaawn...Although the story is the best yet out of the series...I am not impressed with this game. I think the graphics are so so, I know I will catch some **** from this, but I thought Saints Row has a better looking game then GTA4, granted I am still early in to this and I am basing my judgment on what I have seen so far, so my opinion could change but I doubt it. If you are a die hard fan and want a huge game, then go buy it, but if your looking for a game to blow you away graphicaly, your going to be disapointed...I think the story, on line play and the sheer size of this game, more then make up for the so so graphics though.

I think everyone should know not to expect GOW-type graphics with GTA. Like you said, the sheer size of the game more than makes up for the graphics (which aren't horrible, they're pretty impressive in my opinion, but they aren't the best).

I'm still early in the game (like second mission or something early) but I'm enjoying it immensely so far and I haven't even jumped online yet. The driving will take some getting used to for me as it's totally different than previous GTA's but I'm hoping it'll grow on me.

The euphoria engine is pretty cool. I hit a dude on a bike and he went tumbling over my car. I nudged a guy walking and he put his hands on the hood of my car as if to catch himself from falling. All in all I'm happy with the way it turned out so far. Now, back to play some more!

Some good games last night Gronar, Blair and Ego. Hilarious moments, especailly when we started Cops and Crooks and flying off the bridge right away! I said "screw this", got out and got gunned right down by the crooks.

Then my internet connection crapped out.

Sorry guys.

Anyway, I'll probably be on tonight if anyone is up for meeting up in free mode for a bit, and maybe some cops and crooks if we get enough people. Hopefully we can all go get drunk then go bowling!

I got the game yesterday. Im addicted! Even Halo 3 didn't get me this excited! I think the city is freakishly real. Its amazing to just explore and see it all function. I've read that the Hunter(apache) is not in this one, which sucks completely. That was what I was looking forward to the most, but still its a great experience so far. I need to renew my gamertag but I will be back online soon!

Hopefully I will see some of you guys on. I really want to try the online features.

As for the Apache, I don't think it's in the game but there is a heli. I have yet to find it though.

The heli's are probably hidden, like in GTA:VC to get a heli you had to go to the TV station, or there was the bug like one. Usually stuff takes a while to get (ie you have to progress far in the game before you can get them).
