covenant needle gun

just a word up to you guys .
i always thought that the covenant needler gun was pathetic
but after using it , it was a blast
i was in the find captain keyes level ( 2nd time )
got up to a corner and saw 8 short 1`s ( look like squirrels )
3 tall 1`s ( look like walking horses )
and 2 medium 1`s ( look like crows )
anyway 1 short 1 started to run towards me and fire his needle gun at me
( 1 shot at a time )
so just aimed and fired the whole needle cartridge at him
several embedded in him and then he ran back into the middle
of his buddies circle , by then all of the needles found their mark
he turned pink and suddenly what a explosion
after all of the needles exploded ( he made a waaaaaahhhhhh ? ) sound
all of his buddies plasma grenades started going off .
man what a blast .
all of his buddies flying in different directions.
a haven`t laughed so hard in a long time.
i started crying for a few seconds .

any body else try this stunt
p.s. just hold the trigger until the cartridge empties ( reload icon )

I actually like using this on multiplayer depending on the level. Pistol rules all though.

sounds like u recently got the game cuz this is old news, every1 has done that millions of times(like me), its one of my fav trick.
the gun is called a needler
the short ones r Grunts
the medium ones r Jackals
the tall ones r Elites.

Your right Zero. The only set up I use in Halo is the Pisol and the Sniper rifle. The perfect balance.

actually the best combination for going through the whole game is the Human and covanant pistol.

I cind of like the needler on legendary its the best against a gold Elite with a sword unless the Elite is close then its a differnt story....

Sniper Rifle....and.....Plasma Pistol.....that right there could get you through the whole game if you had the ammo

The needler is pretty usefull when there's alot of enemies or in multiplayer

I found it quite amusing to go and find some snipers on halo multi. and just empty a clip in there bac wile zoomed in... its great, try it
