| F.e.a.r. 2 I found this a little disappointing. Not that it's particularly bad, indeed it's a lot of fun, but it lacked the atmosphere of the original game where the claustrophobic nature of many of the environments the player found him/herself contributed to the tension of the game. Alma's sudden appearances, even though she never posed a threat, were still unsettling even after playing through the game several times. The stylised graphics also helped to make the game feel unique. This sequel is clearly optimised for consoles, again not necessarily a bad thing, but with the graphics firmly on the side of 'realistic' and the difficulty level significantly ramped down, it's just another good shooter rather than an interesting amalgam of survival horror and corridor FPS. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
