What do you think is the best shooter of this year? Not most played, not biggest sales, just best to you, you can also say overall which one you pbeleive is on top, I didn't make a poll because I would most likely miss games and having the 'other' vote the most used would be pretty lame.

I'd have to say CoD: World at War for the one doing the best in Sales and most played online.
But I like Left for Dead as my favorite shooter, the vids, the demo, for me its a must have.

I haven't tried Left for Dead yet, apparently it's pretty good.

I'd have to go hands down with Call of Duty 4. It was released last year, but I didn't get it until January, and it pretty much hasn't left my DVD-tray since. I've played COD5, and it's alright, but it's basically COD4 reskinned for WWII. Same engine, same game (multiplayer that is).

I hate the Gears franchise. If I want a 3rd person shooter, I'll go back to my PS2 and load up SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals. That game was amazing. Gears I found to be annoying and unrealistic.

Left 4 Dead all the way. I have been playing it every chance I get. The co-op is great and the versus is amazing.
