Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

After exams, or Xmas, I will definitely be picking it up - I don't even really see the need to rent it out and try it first, like I usually do. Unfortunately though, it's sitting on the must-have list underneath Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed, so I'll be getting those first...

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Just finished the game on regular. I loved pretty much all of it. Usually I don't get into the story much in videogames but the ending was awsome. Now time to find some more enemy intel and play some veteran missions. Perhaps i'll pop online just to see what its like though usually i get owned in games like this.

did you watch the credits all the way through? good luck with Veteran, the last Plane mission is impossible!!!

Veterans a real challange on some of these missions, Ghillies on the Mist has to be my favourite mission in CoD4, but on Veteran at the end of that mission where you have to wait for extraction for like 9mins near the ferris wheel - bloody hell it was a blood bath

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I picked up the game a few days ago and I'm in the Campaign so far. Right now I left off on the Ghillies in the Mist mission and boy is this one tense! I think my favorite mission so far was the first sniping one. Forget what it's called. Also, the gunship was f'n awesome as well!

As for the teammates A.I. I found it to be fairly realistic. However, I don't care for the fact that you're meant to follow them most of the time. I would rather be in the lead. Overall, great game and I'm really enjoying it. I'll hop on Live when I'm done with single player.

Yeah I watched until the end. I haven't tried much on veteran yet but I'm gonna try a few more missions this afternoon (class was canceled ). And yeah I'm not looking forward to the ferris wheel part, it was hard enough for me on regular cuz nobody would walk into my damn claymores!

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Sorry I didn't know how to edit my last post, but anyway my Xbox is officially dead so I'm sending it into those best buy people (replacement plan) and i guess they're suppose to send me a gift card for the full $400 in 10 days or less. So i guess no more CoD4 for me at least until I get a new xbox. Maybe I'll go for the Elite now that I'll have the money. Hopefully I can find one in stores around this time of year or else I may have to get one on their website (grr shipping charges)

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Anyone beat "Mile High Club" on Veteran yet? My god, it's unreal! I've tried so many times, and even watched the youtube videos. The farthest I've got was up the first set of stairs.
