hmm, I played it for about an hour and a half and got 70 points for completeing 4 levels,,,though the biggest one was for killing that aforementioned worm...which wasn't that hard to do,,,,and it looked like there plenty more of the same style achievments for killing the big creatures in that,,but it sounds like every one of the damn things will keep coming back after you killing them...this makes no sense at all.

But otherwise, solid title ... worth 64.99 though? I think not ...
A week long rental would suffice.

And capcom did a wonderful job on this mid-season title. I'd have to say though one of the most frustrating yet fun games I've played in a while. I hated the fact how you'd get knocked down alot and not be able to do anything, and the bosses were extremly hard and frustrating till i figured out the right stategy to use. And that fact made it for me alot more fun to play.
One thing i found to be really, really, really fun about this game is deffinatly the numerous types of mechs and their weapons attachments. I loved the fact how it wasnt in your best interest to just throw whatever weapon you felt like onto your mech, that it is in your interest to think about the weapons and come up with strategies and combos with your weapons and mech types. And mainly the boss battles. The strategyies and the weapon combos and when to use certain ones. I loved the battle with the green eye, because it was the first, well second time really that we get to use that one mech. That was the most fun, exciting and frusting part of the game all at the same time. it was just so much fun to use the mech and even though if you have a strategy for the green eye it was that hard. Over all i guess the mech aspect of the game was the best part execpt for mabey the grapple
Another thing i loved about the game is how story driven it was. Thats what i love about capcom is that to me it always seems like their main focus is the story, and i love that about it. I was driven to keep playing just to find out what would happen to wayne and the others. What made it better was not that it had a story but it was a superb story with perfect cinimatics, that propelled the story deeper and deeper with many spriral and twists to the end. Although i have to partially agree with alpha in regards to the ending could have been a bit better. But i think i followed the flow of the whole story well, so i really liked the ending. The end worked because it provided a great closing to the story. Like a happy ending at the end of a childs story book. It was a nice way to end the game.
