I heard from a guy at at EB games that a new game called Jade Empire will be coming out soon. It is produced by bio-ware the same gods that delivered KOTOR. supposedly with the same battle engine and deapth of story. If anyone knows or know where I can find out please reply.

I saw a trailer that included some behind the scenes footage. It is suppose to be far superior tp KOTOR with amazing visuals. As well I hear there is to be some more "live" action play.

Vader game rumoured

One of the more interesting bits of tittle-tattle emerging from the fray of last week's GDC in San Jose is word on the grapevine that LucasArts are working on a brand new Star Wars game; a major new title which will see the player assume the role of Darth Vader himself in a third-person action title.

Of course, neither LucasArts or their publisher Activision are giving anything away whatsoever, however the schedule is looking rather bare at the moment so it's not unreasonable to suspect they're making something we've yet to hear about. Insider sources apparently confirmed the existence of this mysterious and unusual twist on the franchise to the UK's Eurogamer.net at last week's event - and a multi-platform debut is also rumoured.

mmm, Jade Empire.

Jade Empire is the first game developed by BioWare to have the world developed in-house (their prior work is all on licensed stuff, they're responsible for the Infinity Engine games and NWN on the PC, aside from the obvious KOTOR) and is based (loosely) on Chinese mythology. According to them, it'll be a martial-arts ARPG, with the same sort of decision making influences seen in KOTOR. Personally I can't wait.

Ah,Jade Empire.This game is definitly not a rumor.This game has been in the works for 10 years [it said that in a GI magizine] and is being made by bio-ware,the people who brought us Star Wars:KOTOR.Its release date or as my friend calls it,ship date is 12/07/04.It is a RPG,that will take place in acient china[I think].In a trailer I saw,you can transform into a number of demons,or ancient myth monsters.

It actually got delayed until 3/1/05 but knowing bioware I wouldnt expect it until about mi- July. Also this is a real time kung-fu action rpg and has like 50 kinds of kung fu and magic.

I saw the preview for it in G4phoria and I was kind of unimpressed with it. The graphics are good but I think for the time they've been working on it and the time they pushed it to they can make the graphics better. The fighting system is gonna be kind of confusing too. I can't remember what I saw but I don't think I'll be picking up this game.
