| Toy's R' US' Selling BioShock Early?
As you know it's not our thing to post stuff on the front page without knowing the truth behind the story. It seems many gamers got a copy of BioShock a week early thanks to packaging not marked with the street date stickers. Or so they are claiming the story began breaking early this morning when people went to cash in on the 30.00 off any Xbox 360 game with the purchase of Madden NFL 08. Stores placed BioShock in the new release section and many of the stores sold out before noon today. A quick call to the local store in my area confirmed this and several others are currently playing the game right now. Is this a broken street date? Some are saying yes and managers of the retail chain are callling it a mistake. I can only say good thing this was not Halo 3 or someone would be footing a huge bill. |
