Rumors are a flying of a 360 price drop, at least overseas...

A price drop overseas would not surprise me. Although one in the US would at this time. Xbox has nothing to panic over sales for the PS3 are not bothering them and so far there is nothing the PS3 has to threaten the market. If anyone has something to cause the other two to panic it may be the Wii the thing is hot right now and selling at a rapid pace. A UK price drop would also insure the Xbox 360 a stronger base and most in the industry called this a long time ago. It may not be a price drop but a rebate like they did in the US during the Holiday season. I think before Summer there will also be one in the US although I do not expect it to be as low. Should be interesting to see what happens in the next months though.

Actually, we're all better off if there is no "winner." As long as the three companies continue to battle each other the competition makes for better product and lowest prices....usually.

I'm really wanting to buy a 360 but due to the fact that I'm in college I'm not allowed to have any money, ever. Any news on a price drop in the US?

The rumor is that the 360 will drop by $50 either later this summer or fall. There have been adds leaked on to the internet from Target.

Yep, I think there was one from Best Buy too.
