I like turn-based game. It adds more strategy rather than just running around and slashing or shooting people as fast as u can if u know what i mean. I never liked the whole spray n prey concept...

Yea I wasn't too annoyed with turn based (ask Gen how much of a shocker that is). Until I got near Rohan and like 12 orcs attacked me, and they all attacked three times (each) before I even got a turn and just slaughtered me. Yea, I threw my controller and returned that stupid game to gamefly after that.

OMFG! I know exactly what you mean! That **** pissed me off, and I thought I had it bad with five orcs. It's completely unfair. They all attacked one after another killing my two other companions and leaving me with a sliver of health. Whoopty ****in' doo! I wanted to put my fist through the ****ing TV I was so pissed. I haven't played it since

Ironically the ****ing Balrog battle was easier than these five orcs!

I like this game alot, I've logged about 9 hours into it, I guess I play a bit faster than you guys cause I'm at 37% of the game completed right now.

I have unlocked multiple levels for evil mode but have yet to check it out, may wait til I beat the main story of the game until I do that.

Oh and as for the turn based fighting, it works really well in this game, as long as you have your characters filled up with AP you can use the elf to restore your health and AP when it's her turn so I don't see the problem if they take a couple extra shots at you before you get your turn.

Also, be sure to use the leadership skills cause at the point in the game I am, there is a command that will let 2 of your allies take a free shot each at the enemy of your choice, so as the game progresses it actually gets better.
