As you all probably know Fable has quite recently come out in AUS. I'm getting stressed out here, because I don't have any time to go buy it until this weekend. Oh well I guess i'll have to wait.

I beat Fable this afternoon. All I can say is anticlimatic and way too easy. And this is coming from someone who usually sucks at boss battles. I mean, this has got to be one of the easiest end boss fights in gaming history. The minions that he summoned as a way to distract me from killing him for a while proved more of a challenge than the Jack of Blades. I mean, I thought the end battle was going to be something extravagant, but alas, just like Fable itself it too proved to be way too easy and over before you realized what happened.

I mean, I'm not bashing the game and I still enjoyed the (little) time I had playing through it, but the end confrontation was definitely not what I was expecting. But then why should I be that surprised for a game in development longer than three years and only lasts about 16 hours or so?

I agree that it's short and easy, but it's still fantastic. I don't agree with people who score it a 6/10 (or similar) simply because they feel it was overhyped.

You have to look at the game itself, not listen to who said what about the game or how hyped up it was...
