Have you tried Gladius, GeN? It's good, especially if you like games like FF tactics, and it's got a nifty setting and story.

I heard of it, and yes...it did strike an interest when it first came out. Oddly I've never played it either. I think that was around the time when I had no money and I was strugglin'. I'll check it out as well...

I still think that KOTOR is the best RPG out as of now, you should at least try playing it, you won't stop playing it, it's sooo much fun.

I like Fable, and Pirates of the Caribbean but as a die hard Star Wars fan I gotta go with KOTOR.

I voted Morrowind GOTY. When I play a RPG I want the feeling of being transported to a completely different world, and I want to be totallly immersed it it. Morrowind's world did just that for me. I also enjoyed KOTOR but Morrowind IMHO was just that more involved. Fable is also a great RPG but just too short on quests to top Morrowind or KOTOR.

too bad the final fantasy series isnt on xbox, but that is why i have a ps2 also

IMO FFX had the best story line of ANY game i have ever played. The beautiful graphics really helped to elevate the quality of gameplay as it made it seem so real, especially in the movie sequences, unlike the fabled FFVII (dont get me wrong, FFVII was awesome, but nothing like FFX). Bascially, FFX is the best RPG i have ever played. But on Xbox, KOTOR is the best.

i wouldnt really consider Morrowind to be an RPG, atleast not mainstream, mainly because it is so free roaming. IMO it should be in a new category, such as "FRRPG" - free roaming role play game.
