I'd go with what Gronar said and wait for Fable in September. The graphics are good, you can completely customize your character. But I don't know if you'd be able to go to a store and find a copy of it because so many people have pre-orders on it

Morrowind,Sudeki and Baldul's gate are some great RPGs

Morrowind is pretty good, Sudeki is good too, Baldurs gate is a hack in slash with upgradeable weapons and stats and tahts about it.
Ark Fatalis was a decent game on the computer. Its still pretty good for the Xbox, though I cant figure out how to get my controls to slow down enough. They are lightening fast and thats for FPS not RPGs..8(
Anyway, Fable is a real good decision...just have to wait till Septemeber.
