need help with weapons

can some one help me with the weapons i dont know what the numbers mean on the wep for example chop 1-34???????/

Thats how much damage that weapon will do..between 1 and lets say 38 hit points of damage per hit.

i mean when you press Y it says the type of weapons eg. short sword then it has chop thrust and slash and beside each of the it says 7-11 what does the number mean?????

refer to what I said above man no offense but you got to have some what of a brain for this game or you never going to make it all the way through it and if after some one explaining to you what those numbers meant and you still don't get it, I don't see a lot of hope here. and yeah that weapon wouldn't be bad for a noob, it just wouldn't do a lot of damage to a wet roll of toilet paper.

wow well each one of those means how much damage it does when attacking that way thrust-stabing, chop stright down, slash, sideways different ones for diff weapons
