Any enchanted short sword is a good pick, you can get a few by completing the dieadrick quests.

it seems you went the same route as i did....i use a bow mostly, and if the battle gets close then i also have high blade level so i can use a one hand sword. but it really depends on what you chose in the sewers, what weapon masteries are your stongest

ya know, i've kinda gotten bummed out with the game after a few weeks,,,picked up a new game or 2 along the way, and haven't really touched oblivion , as I feared would happen,,,,will probably end up playing it more,,just in moderate doses between other games hehe. anyway, how the heck can you increase your magicka? I've seen a ton of spells and such that would be so very helpful, but I don't have enough power to do them

BF2 has taken over for a while now...that and WoW still. its going to be one of those games that I will come back to off and on.

Increase your Magicka with Intelligence i beleive...I think it increases the same way your HP does, 1/10th of Intelligence per level (HP is 1/10 of endurance). I am not positive but...thats what i think it is. And yes, some of those spells have ridiculously high casting costs

so you're saying I'm never gonna increase my magicka? mmm will have to look into that at some future point,,reason I got burnt out is I was deadlocked on 4 different quests and just kinda got frustraited,,but I'm sure I'll get back to it eventually , thanks for the info

Well, when you level if you increase your intelligence you will get more per level
