I'm going to go right now and try to make it to the outside so I can really take in the world. Then it's off to bed. Work tomorrow.

But what about the fighting system. It seems the same as it was in Morrowind..very dull.

I played it at a friend's house last night and I have to say that this game if ****ing awesome! The world seems like it is endless and you could explore it for hours. The combat has improved though, I think they didn't want to go too far with the fighting though because they didn't want the game to feel like a hack n' slash. It feels just right.

Posts: 2,585 | Re: Future owners of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion When I first put in the game and made it outside, I kept having loooong load times and every few yards it would seem to stop load, stop, load. really annoying, THENI found this.......................... Oblivion uses the Xbox 360 hard drive extensively to cache (copy and reuse) game data. This is done to optimize all loading the game does. It has been found in rare cases on some Xbox 360s that the cached data can get overly fragmented. This exhibits itself by the game taking a long time to load anything from menus, dialogue, sounds, objects, levels, and more. To solve this problem, reset your Xbox, and hold down the A button as the game is booting up. If any button is held while Oblivion is loading, it will clear its hard drive cache, and create a new one. Once you see the “Bethesda Softworks” logo video, the game is already loaded, and the cache should have been cleared. Note, this does not effect your game in any way other than loading. You will not lose any saved data. it did wonders, so if any of you are having the same stuff happen to you, just follow the above directions. as for Shizen, I thought the graphics were really well done, its not what they original said as far as individual leaves on trees individual blades of grass acting on their own etc... third person mode seems like your floating rather then walking, stick with first person for most of the game. over all its a substantial leap over the xbox version but still not quite there yet. I love this game but to be honest, I still haven't seen anything on the 360 that is leaps and bounds over what the Xbox can do, but then again we haven't even seen the 2nd gen games yet either. Is the game Worth the price of admission? YES. Is it going to blow you away graphically? Yes and No. My final advice, don't go into this looking for jaw dropping graphics never before seen, instead go into this looking for some fun and adventure with graphics you haven't seen on your xbox or pc and you will be pleasantly surprised.

At least compared to the Xbox. But the physics are completely GODLY, and yeah if you look at a tree you can see the leaves blowing around and stuff, not sure about the grass though. But the physics are basically as real as a game can get which is what has really blown me away.
