TFLO ... my heart still hurts when I think about the injustice of that. Also after seeing how badd FFXI looks on the 360 I'm uber upset because now I know that TFLO might have been out in the first year if they hadn't decided on combatting sony with FFXI. I knew the game would look bad because it's cross platform. And I don't know why, but I presumed it may be difficult to make the 360 version properly and have it interact with pc and ps2. The footstep sound makes me suicidal its so annoying and i cant figure out how to remove it other than drowning it out with my own music. I think that putting FFXI on the xbox360 was a bad decision. As bad as it looks, it wont sell xbox360's. It doesn't help them combat sony since sony has had the game for quite awhile now. For me to play FFXI they need to put some 360 powered textures into the game and some advanced lighting effects. And perhaps make the movement look more real when you walk up stairs... it looks real bad. It looks like the MMO of this won't make it more appealing then oblivion... though I never suspected it would, still. You know what oblivion needs now I think about it. Co-op. I remember co-oping on Untold Legends for the PSP and although the performance was crap it was fun... and it would be neat if oblivion had it.

ok gronar i look forward to that.. you know my gamertag so hit me up... my playonline tag is setite and my ingame character is Thierry... I don't like only having one character... .it told me i had to buy another content id for another character... now i recall why i never tryed this game... i want to be able to have more than one toon at once...

yea its deceptive... i mean the first installation starts out saying 57 mins... it didnt take that long i think though... unless my time perception is totally off yesterday... but then you have to sign up then install the game itself which takes like 20 mins... then there are two more sets of installations that are masked as updates.... so either alot has changed, they pressed these discs too long ago, or the disc doesnt have the majority of the files on it.... either way... its annoying because each time you think your ready your not... i'll be waiting on the forums... message me on xbox when you are ready... i sent you a friend request...

Even though I don't even know the extent to how crappy the beta is...I think you guys are being too hard on it. Let's see how the final product turns out.

its not the game... its the fact its not nextgen... thats the part i dont like.... its not worthy of an xbox360

It's the FF XI Online beta disc it uses a strange launcher that looks blue on other's gamer tags almost like a target of sme kind. As far as I know there is no real achievements it just comes up as a game with the value set as 0.
