Mostly because fo the story line and the combat system

I reckon the first Zelda on the N64 is the best RPG. It was such a great game! I remember spending hours on end playing on that game...

The best RPG's ever IMO

Not in any particular order...

1) Legions of Legaia (The 1st rpg I ever played thru to the end)
2) The FF series
3) Skies of Arcadia (I wish it would come to Xbox)
4) A tie...GRANDIA/ STAR OCEANS
5) Star Wars:K.O.T.O.R.

Gameman, I think you meant Legend of Legaia ^^

and thats my favorite RPG
Heres my top 5

1. Legend of Legaia (theres somethign about this game)
2. Star ocean 2 (enix proved that square wasnt even half as good as them, good thing they fused)
3. Chrono Serie ( Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross plainly rule story wise)
4. FF series (FFX and x-2 were a bit deceiving but like that flash movie said, if you play one youll be playing this game till the end of time)
5. BoF 1&2 (they were pretty good game on the snes, but I must admit that 3 and 4 ruined the whole serie)
