Re: Morrowind Vs. Fable

I got fable pretty near its release, it really caught me (i normaly stay away from single player RPGs..) and i loved it, but yes as many of you have said it is very short if you just stick with the main missions and such. I have never played Morrowind, but have seen it and i am getting it for the xbox360 in my bundle, which i was happy to see caus ei probly wouldnt buy it on my own. From the teaser videos ive seen it looks kick***.

Re: Morrowind Vs. Fable

Aren't most RPGs single player?

Anyway If i had to choose from between the two I would definitely take Morrowind. Fable's got a really good atmosphere though. And if you're thinking of getting it you'd be better off getting it for the PC.

Re: Morrowind Vs. Fable

Fable was a ok game.Granted it was really hyped up like other games were and wasnt nearly as good as most of us thought it was.Its not a game you really want to buy,its more like something you would rent for a few hours of killing stuff. If you looking for a great rpg morrowind is the better choice.Yes its graphics are out of data and combat is very dull. But theirs alot of story and can make for a in depth game that I spent many hundreds of hours playing.

Re: Morrowind Vs. Fable

The cool thing about Fable is how your character (and the NPCs reactions to your character) change in response to your actions over the course of the game. Be a good person or a bad person. The townspeople will either sing your praises or chase you out of town depending. And if you go down the path of good your features will be mostly pleasant but if you are evil your appearance will reflect it. Fable was the first game where I saw that level of interactivity and/or consequence to your choices throughout the game.
