Just got an email inviting to me join a new program linking my PSN ID and my "underground ID" together, so that I can take my PSN identy and make it portable around the web..in other words..a gamercard.

Anyone else get one?


PS,,what I found particularily funny is the description it gives. describing me as a member of elite group of Playstation 3 enthusiasts who "actively use their console and particpate in the online community", which is why I selected I join this...

They announced this at E3. It's supposed to link PSU with the PS3 and the PSP. I'm not crazy about PSU lately. Anyone else in the Gamer Advisory Panel? They used to push surveys and free stuff all the time (that how I got to beta test some games, and won a SOCOM watch) but lately I haven't heard jack from them.

I am a member and have not recieved any invites or a survey in ages. Another thing that Sony left fall through the cracks. I also remember when being an underground member would mean free demos, free full games , shirts and other cool things but that stopped why back. I think the last thing I got was a PSP demo UMD disc about a year ago.

Yup, remember the holiday demo disks, with their neat 3D menus? Good times. Sony's been a mess lately.
