If it were me, wild wins.

I mean, I know some of the show is staged and all, but I find it hard to believe I could do some of the things he does/eat some of the things he eats. It seems to be like I'd just say "F it all" and give up.

my only gripe with the show is how he expects people to watch this and remember every tidbit; people are expected to identify the plants that are good to eat and which are poisonous and likewise with insects.

Suvivorman is much better in my opinion. Man vs. Wild is impressive with all the disgusting junk he is willing to eat, but the camera crew makes him lose point in my book. Go Les Stroud!

As to your original point, I agree. I don't know if I would be able to eat that stuff. Then again, in the face of death survival instincts kind of take over and you do things you would never expect to do.
