Hope you get this right first time !!! - No hope for me - I only got 3 Count every " F " in the following text: FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTI FIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS... (SEE BELOW) HOW MANY ? ...................... 3? WRONG, THERE ARE 6 -- no joke. READ IT AGAIN ! 1 V Really, go Back and Try to find the 6 F's before you scroll down. The reasoning behind is further down. The brain cannot process "OF".  Incredible or what? Go back and look again!! Anyone who counts all 6 "F's" on the first go is a genius. Three is normal, four is quite rare.

I got all 6 as well but I have seen similar things before.
It also applies to the fact that most people only hear every 3rd word you say or read what you write. Try it sometime with a freind and have them say exactly what you just said. That is the easiest example I can give for why this is. | |

I did get all 6 but I was also expecting it, I have seen some similar sentences and been fooled before. It is a trip but the average mind does overlook words like of, the, is and so forth. Nice one Hoof.

Hey, have you tried using reading glasses? I haven't read this post for ages so when I came back to it, it was new.
I was wearing reading glasses and got three again the first time. But on reading again I found the six!!
This test is quite frightening actually, if you think about it.
