These are Frequently Asked Questions taken from the OFFICIAL FAQ @ Bungie.net - Please read them before posting as the answer to your question may be here already:

Q When is Halo 2 coming out?
A Bungie has always stood by our policy of not giving out release dates for any of our titles. To put it simply, Halo 2 will be done when it's done. We're all as eager as you to get our hands on this amazing game but perfection takes time.

For now, Matt has already confirmed that the Summer 2003 dates being shown on various retail websites are definitely not accurate. When we do have a solid release date, we will post it here on Bungie.net. Until then, any Halo 2 release dates you hear should be considered extremely unreliable.

Q Will there be a public beta test for Halo 2?
A Unfortunately, No. Halo 2 will undergo rigorous internal testing but it will not be available to the public. Anyone who claims to have a beta copy or to be a participant in the beta test other than a Bungie employee is pulling your leg.

Q Will Halo 2 support online play via Xbox Live?
A Absolutely! Forget everything you know about Xbox Live. We intend for Halo 2 to become the definitive Xbox Live experience with well designed and extremely robust support for online play. We'll have much more to say on this subject in the months ahead.

Q Will Halo 2 support the Xbox Live communicator in online games?
A Definitely.

Q Will Halo 2 support downloadable content?
AWe can't answer this just yet, but stay tuned...

Q What is the plot of Halo 2?
A The full story is a closely guarded secret but so far we can confirm that the Covenant forces will attack Earth, another Halo ring comes into play, and MC will take the battle to the Covenant. As with the first Halo, there will be a few new twists that you definitely won't expect.

Is it true that Halo 2 may be released on 11/15/2003? At the best of everyone's knowledge this is NOT true. Here's the link to Bunigie's Official Denial of this rumor - CLICK HERE!

Is it true that a Deluxe version of Halo: Combat Evolved will be released on 11/15/2003 featuring Halo on Xbox LIVE? This has not been confirmed either, the following link is the only denial I personally have seen, nothing official. The same way there's no official denial (to the best of my knowledge), there is NOT an official notice that this rumor is true - CLICK HERE!

I have taken info and links from posts of other people, I do not take responsibility for any of this info. Thank you everybody for providing these links.

Misc. Info about Halo (gameplay, characters, etc.)

To get out of Blood Gulch.
Get a Ghost and get near the Red Base, infront of and to the right of the base you should see a slight slope up the mountain. Move towards it going sideways, and before you hit the wall jump out of the Ghost, if you timed it right you should slide up the mountain and off the map.

To get out of Sidewinder.
Take a tank up to the hill on the right side (facing away from the Blue base) and park it with it back up against the wall, then drive a Ghost straight up it and off the map.

The idea is not to have hundreds of threads about the same questions that are asked every day. And yeah I know many people won't read and will post, but with this I can post the link and close the thread.

On the other hand, many people will read and won't post so they'll have their questions answered.

I will assume you meant Halo 2 (since Halo is out), and I will now scold you for not reading the FAQ, not even the first question.
