If you consider yourself a Halo fan, and if you are one of those eagerly anticipating Halo2- and, you get your hands on any information regarding Halo2, then you need to pick up May's issue of Game Informer magazine...
Yes, there have been some pictures on the web out there from the mag (and some in here), and many have been taken down- some because of the simple legal issues of putting 'em up, and also many forum moderators know that GI paid a lot of money for this exclusive, and there would be a great disservice to both GI and Bungie if they kept them up. Not to mention any detail about the article.
This thread is for those of you who had no idea where the pictures came from, and/or who were not sure if it was worth getting the magazine after seeing those scanned screenshots.
Having said that, I won't go into any detail about the article, either. I will say this though-
the article was as informative as the June '03 issue of OXM , yet the GI article's main focus was on multiplayer and did not touch much of single player (didn't spill anything there- that's on the cover). The pics and article are definitely worth the five bucks and change!
I would like to quote a small piece of the article. I don't think this does any disservice to anyone: "
...the game felt like a natural extension of the original-like an old friend, only with a new look, a clean new haircut, and a fat wad of cash."
So, pick up a copy of May's GI. Lot's of interesting stuff! And, it's the first time I've bought the magazine, soley to get some more info on Halo2- after saying that, I wonder how much the exclusive boosted the mag's sales?
