Although I do like Halo, the level to which some people rave about it is a little absurd and undeserved. Yes, I had a great time playing it. Yes, I enjoyed the compelling storyline. Yes, it was fun to play. That's about it. Whatever awards it got I'm sure it deserved. But some people take obsessive to the next level when talking about this game. I've seen them on different message boards since almost the day Xbox released (and still currently), and it's like, "OK, guys. It was a great game. Let's not get carried away."

Of course your right, but it's like that with any good game. Remeber when FFVII came out? It was crazy. OrThe original FF, Zelda, Mario, etc. All are good games, it's just some people take it ot the next level (I like to call that Level 13). You just gotta know where to draw the line.

It's not so much as drawing a line as it is practicing self-control. Not pissing your pants at the mere mention of a game. Not taking every waking second to glorify it beyond what it really is. We could be here all day debating about when enough is enough; that's not the issue. It's just that some people get carried away with things.

I agree. Some people get out-of-hand carried away with things. Like these forums for instance. Anyone can come in here and read about everytime some employee at bungee writes a line of code and how many pixels were added to the cover art. A break is needed.
