nope... i didn't go for the warranty. i'm thinking of buying an elite now, and just getting the other one repaired under the 3 year policy they got going right now. i was planning to buy an elite eventually for the hdmi, just not this soon

hey Cup, I'd just send yours in, and if you really do want the elite buy that if not, It's a little immoral but, just go buy a core play on that till you get yours back and then return the other. no harm done

i thought about doing something like that, but using my brother's warranty. but i don't think i could do something like that. it's too sketchy for me to do, so i'm probably just gonna buy a new one for now, and wait to fix the other hoping they'll replace it with the new chips.... i got about 2 years for that

Damn, the timing sucks. I would definitely send the one in for repair, and personally, buy an elite and when the repair comes back, sell it. Done. That is, if you have the cash, that's the part that sucks.

This is worst that I thought...

There is a store, apparently in Norway, that has already sold copies of the game. There have also been thefts in stores (Read a story about a Toys 'R Us) to get the game.

So yeah... be very careful on what you read/watch/click!

Yikes! I stopped playing last night but left the console because I was downloading some stuff from the marketplace and charging my controller.

There was a power surge and then the 3 red lights of dead started blinking!!!

I reboot the console and everything was fine, but it scared the crap out of me!

Just a heads up on the whole spoiler thing. Bungie.net relaunches tomorrow with all the new Halo 3 stats and whatnot goodness. There will be plenty of MVP's, etc, that already have there copies of the game and are playing, and this will be reflected on the website if you look them up. One thing the new site tracks that Halo 2 did not is SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
