No, cheating won't alwys exist. Forms of it, possibly. However, the types of and levels of cheating to which you refer can be eridicated, but MS need to undertake a dedicatedly-massive crackdown...

It's possible...

Yea, come on guys, you're gonna get screwed if you mod your xbox, if your online and using it. Buy 2 xboxes and do it offline so it doesn't harm your heart.

Being banned from matchmaking would not be too good for the mind.

i had a modded xbox for a while... for the media center it had... i could not cheat... period.. end of fuggin discussion... banning from xbl for having a modded box is just gay... they didn't do it because of cheating... if they claim they do its bs.... scan my hardrrive for bootlegged games fine.. but all my hdd had on it was xbox media center... but ah well... i hate ms.. im getting an xbox360 because its the only thing they did right... and when a 360 ******* comes out with good stuff.. ill buy a spare core...

My box has been modded for a couple of years now. I left my original HD alone, and use a 60gig for all my multimedia stuff. You get so much more from a modded xbox. I have a different drive now, (52x vs the stock 2x) and the games load up super fast. XBMC is awesome, i can stream music and video to my TV now. Pretty much all the cool stuff everyone is talking about with the 360. i can even surf the net and use a keyboard and mouse. Yeah some modded boxes are used for pirated games(i'm not innocent), but most aren't. Especially after Xbox live came out. Buy the way, you can't even log onto XBL with a modded box, you'll get kicked off before your gamertag loads. Srry for the long reply.

I actually looked everywhere for some Halo2 program that would let you cheat while online. There aren't any. You can cheat through system link, or multiplayer, but your chip has to be on to use them and you can't connect to live with your mod chip on.
