I have also witnesses several times one guy taking a shotgun blast right to the face and nothing then a second shot to the face and nothing. it took 3 freakin shots to drop this dude with a SHOTGUN up close.

i here ya, the same thing happened to me and my friend today. i blasted a guy with the rocket launcher 3 times, and yet he was still alive, and seconds later i was dead. this is bs

The only type of cheating I cannot stand is standby... I just cannot stand when your in a Clan Match you got the flag then somebody standby's their modem and kills you to return their flag. I hate this so much.

I've noticed the same thing. I can blast away at someone for what seems ages and they only have to fire a few rounds at me (generally when my weapon is reloading) and I die. Makes me cuss like mad. I thought it either me being totally crap or it was my controller not working quite correctly. I didn't realise they could have been cheating.

How do they do it? With one of those mod chip things?

well I was pondering this the other day and well if you have duel plasma pistols and hold your trigger about half way down as opposed to all the way down, it will actually fire at a faster rate. I was wondering if the smg will do the same. I have noticed more then a few times playing that the opponets smgs sounded like they were firing at a faster rate then mine. I thought it could have also been one of thoes programable controllers with the repeat buttons on them like for firing faster and stuff.

Well THAT is definitely something I didn't know about! I must admit though, I get pretty much the same thing if I use both left and right trigger buttons together.

I'm will try it tonight though, see what happens.

About time...

The problem is, thats its so easy to get around, softmod, mod your newly downloaded maps using your computer, and then unistall your softmod, and go back on xbl with a modefied map. Its really not hard, Im suprised you dont hear about many glassmaps. Cheaters will alwase exist, no mater how hard we try to destroy them, I admit, i've done it

and lots of others have and do as well.
