Xbox live lag problem

Ok so here's my problem

I have multiple computers connected to my home network. 1 of them is wired to the router and every other computer is connected wirelessly to the router. All of my wireless computers do not disagree in any way with my home network. However, whenever the wired one is on, it slows down my internet speed. I can never play Xbox when it is on because of the enormous lag.

No, tossing it out or unplugging it is not an option. This is my parent's computer so they like to keep it on to access their e-mail and to work on it. They always get mad when I ask to turn it off so I can play one or two games of Halo 3, Call Of Duty, whatever game it may be.

If anyone knows what the problem might be, can you please tell me and give a solution, it would be greatly appreaciated.

There is not any real solution, it sounds to me like your router is giving the wired connection the dedication, The on ly thing that may help is to upgrade to a faster connection. I have road runner turbo, 2 computers running and I can play xbox live with no lag.

So if you're saying that the router is giving it priority, do you think that changing the QoS settings would do the trick?

No he is suggesting that you upgrade to a faster connection if you only have 3-5 G service and running 2-4 things at once your going to have lag.
At 15 G my connection I have no issue with all the things running. If you have a high speed service it may be the router or settings but sounds more of the type of service. I suggest a speed test or posting your service so we can help you if possible.
