Rainbow Six 3 - REFINERY problem

Ok I'm at the refinery place on the 3rd mission. I am SPECIFICALLY at the place where the guy with the RPG tries to blow up the big column. I know the big bay door is supposed to open by me triggering something, but I can't get it to work. I can kill everybody, but the doors never open. HELP.

Maybe your game might be glitching. Wait a minute, have you tried letting the guy with the RPG blow open the door? Try that, and if it doesn't work, you might have to restart from the begining. If you have Xbox Live, you might want to try to play Refinery in mission mode online. If you do have it, I have a friend that likes to play mission mode. Here is his gamer tag: Deltaforce4. He may not be on right now, but playing with him is worth the wait.

The RPG guy ONLY aims at the big column. He won't ever aim at my team. Who can I call and complain to about my game not working.?

I could swear that the guy shoots the door. I recall that once the door opens that the RPG flys into the area and harms the hostage. How long have you waited for the guys to shoot the door?

I promise you man...all this guy is doing is shooting at the column. I dunno what the deal is. You would think he WOULD try to kill me, but he just shoots the column.

I just did the mission over AGAIN for the 38469527 time and same result...he doesn't shoot at the door.

I just redid the mission and it turned out fine. I killed all of the guys on the ground and on the catwalk. After that the door just opened up and I slaughtered the men inside. The guy doesn't shoot the door, you're right. I don't understand what is wrong with your game or what makes the door open. Maybe you didn't kill every man in the level. It is an unfounded guess, so don't go through the game thousands of times looking for every terrorist. I have no idea how to fix it, but it might work itself out. Like I said it might just be a glitch and you might have to restart your xbox.
I hope you read this before you got offline. If you didn't I am sorry that you had to wait a day for my response.

I have the same problem right now. I've been stuck here for the past hour trying to figure it out. I killed off everybody, and all that's left is the hostage! The guy with the RPG just shoots at the pillar, and the garage doors never opened up. HELP, anybody?!!

Nevermind, I figured it out by myself. When u enter the last room, don't let him shoot 2 rockets, take him out before he does. I used a grenade launcher to take him out first...then the garage door opened and there were more guys inside.
