| Re: Favorite Weapon in Morrowwind i personally favor the daedric mace since my character is, or was, trained with axes and blunt weapons until my game file somehow got corrupted and i didnt have a backup save, so it was wasted. And then i started over and had my character strength up to 2000, but then i accidentally saved over that with a different character (you cant imagine the self hatred for that). But i must warn you, getting your character strength up to 2000 makes the game very boring. you can kill everything with one hit so it takes forever to level up. But incase you are wondering how to get it that high, it is actually very simple, but you must be VERY patient. Simply perform all the orders Caius assigns to you, and eventually you will be given the task of killing Dagoth Something (i forget his name) and upon his death he will curse you with corprus disease, which is not a bad thing at all if you know the tricks to it. Well you will soon learn that each day you have corprus, your strength and endurance (i know it is strength for sure, but im not so sure if it is endurance or not) will go up 1 or 2 points while everything else goes down 2 points. Anyhow, you just have to go to Tel Fyr and the master of the hall (i forgot his name too) will tell you about a potion that prevents corprus from worsening, but never completely cures it. So after you do his task but before you drink the potion, go find his bed, and you can sleep in it free of charge and there will be no crime for it either. I chose to sleep for 2000 days (which took forever when you can only sleep 1 full day at a time), but in the end my strength and endurance was 2000 and everything else was zero. Now the startling part. I got the corprus disease "cured" and began the quest to restore my other attributes, so i went to an alchemist and they wouldnt talk to me because my personality was around -2000 (although it registered as 0) so i couldnt buy any restore potions, so i went to an imperial shrine and tried to restore my attributes, but to my avail nothing happened, so i thought that i just screwed the game because i saved after i was finished increasing my strength. So i thought all was lost and started going crazy on the imperial shrine and to my surprise, after about 10 donations my attributes were back to normal! (excpet for strength and endurance which were still at 2000). This is also extremely good for those of you who love to loot Tombs and Daedric Shrines because it allows you to carry a ton of weight. My character was capable of carrying 5000 lbs (or whatever weight unit they use in Vvardenfell) which was very usefull. But beware, you now have one MAJOR weakness.... strength drain spells and attacks. because your strength is in a state of fortification, it can be drained, and when it is drained you cannot restore because it is already beyone its normal limits. So be very careful when battling Greater Bonewalkers because they usually hit you with a strong drain strength spell, just be sure to kill them before they have time to act. Well, i hope this helps for someone!
